Sod production begins in the fields with our eight sod harvesters, capable of harvesting 74,000 square yards per day. Our four sod fields consist of 20,000 acres in Central Florida.

Swart's six sod crews are capable of laying 74,000 square yards of sod per day. They are experienced in performing sod installation in a timely and efficient manner. Our custom six door flat beds are equipped to haul a forklift, crew and empty pallets from the job site, leaving a clean work site at the end of the day.

Our District Project Managers (DPM) have full project responsibility. Each district manager handles their projects personally with the assistance of the contractor and engineer. The DPM's responsibilities include scheduling work, measuring jobs and resolving issues. They are responsible for the entire contract during each progressive stage up to completion.

Swart's Landscaping, Inc. has teamed up with the Department of Transportation to perform shoulder rehabilitation throughout the state of Florida, commonly known as "E-jobs". The scope of work varies from reworking non-paved roadside shoulders, to lateral ditch excavation, and high-fill embankment restoration.

When the project calls for hydroseeding or seed and mulch, our three-man crew is equipped to seed 10 acres per day.

Watering systems provide service 365 days a year. Our fleet of water trucks includes seven 6-wheel drive trucks that are equipped with 5,000 gallon tanks and self-loading diesel pumps. A remote controlled water cannon sprays out to 160 feet and six spray heads discharge water, assuring that every piece of sod gets wet.
